Curriculum
We follow the requirements of the National Curriculum and the recommendations of our Local Education Authority. Our mornings are largely made up of Literacy and Numeracy ‘hours’ and are taught mainly to a whole class. The rest of our subjects are taught in mini topics for each half term. We notify parents at the start of each term as to the themes coming up for the term in our ‘Curriculum Newsletters’ to encourage an interest in studying at home. Each subject in the school has a leader (or ‘co-ordinator’) who has particular qualifications or interests in that part of the curriculum. Click on the subjects below for further information:
