My name is Claire Weyman and I am the Pastoral Manager at Pewsey Primary School.
I have worked for Wiltshire County Council for ten years now, and formerly worked for Wiltshire Behaviour Support Service, working with permanently excluded pupils. I have always worked in child care and started my career working as a private Nanny.
I love my job here at school, and teach the pupils various emotional literacy skills including friendship and social skills, raising self esteem, anger management, relaxation sessions and at times; bereavement counselling.
I also work alongside families to support their children.
The pupils and their families can come to me for a chat if they have any worries, and I try my best to help them.
Out of school I love being with my family, visiting France on holiday, skiing and cooking cup cakes!
