Facilities

At Pewsey Primary School, we are very proud of our School grounds.  We have superb grounds that we are constantly developing to enhance our childrens' experiences even further.

We have a 'Trim -Trail' and a 'Tyre-Park', so there are lots of opportunities to be outside keeping healthy!

We have an undercover learning area for our Foundation Stage/Year 1 pupils to enjoy, ensuring that they have full access to the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum inside and outside.

We strongly believe in taking care of our environment and have established an Eco-Committee and Gardening Club.  We have a vegetable patch where the children grow their own veg.  We are working towards achieving our Bronze Eco-Award.

The school has the advantage of being on a shared site with Pewsey Children's Centre, Pewsey Vale Secondary School and the local Leisure Centre, giving us numerous opportunities and facilities such as direct access to the swimming pool and specialist teaching staff.

The school, through its links in the locality, is able to provide excellent sporting opportunities for the pupils through clubs and tournaments, leading to much success on a personal and team level. Please see our clubs page for further details.

We are very fortunate in that our school site is all on one level and all entrances have ramped access.  We have wide doorways and appropriate toilet facilities.

We are able to cater for the needs of disabled pupils and several of our teaching assistants have received specialist training to be able to assist pupils with their mobility.
