Time Out Parenting Courses

What are Time Out Parenting Courses?

Time Out Parenting Courses are for parents of younger children. The course helps build strong relationships using good parenting principles to nurture children from an early age. The aim of the course is to help you recognise the good and positive things that you are already doing, as well as giving you time to think through some ideas on parenting that you may not have come across before. If you would like to find out more information then click here.

How much does it cost?

The course is free and anyone can attend. All we ask is that you are committed to attending all of the sessions.

What should I expect from the course?

Below is an example of how the courses are structured (although this is subject to change):

Session 1: ‘Parenting Children with Special Needs’.

Session 2: ‘Self-esteem’.

Session 3: ‘Coping with Feelings’.

Session 4: ‘Understanding Behaviour’.

Session 5: ‘Managing Behaviour’.

Session 6: ‘Home and School’.

Session 7: ‘The Wider Family’.

Where and when are they held?

Due to Covid-19, many courses are being run slightly differently. Please contact Mrs Spanswick for more information.
